Flying Delivery

Leeds based CC Imaging is the first pro-lab to take delivery of a Frontier 570 digital mini-lab. Owners John Weldon and Mark Senior were hot off the mark and ordered their Frontier 570 after seeing it previewed in a magazine article.

John explains: “We already have a Frontier 330 and knew we’d get the same excellent quality prints from the new model so didn’t want to waste any time in placing our order. Because the Frontier 570 prints up to 18" x 12" we primarily use it for our commercial work. The capacity to produce large prints is a real bonus for us which, combined with the speed at which it operates, means that the Frontier 570 meets everything on our mini-lab wish list!”

Since its arrival at CC Imaging, the Frontier 570 has certainly been worth its weight in gold. “Although January is traditionally a quiet month for pro-labs, we’ve still been pretty busy and the Frontier 570 has been in constant use,” says John.

“Since it arrived on 11th January, we’ve used it to process a large volume of wedding and social photography, as well as a couple of top secret jobs. We can’t reveal much, but let’s just say it’s printed a few famous faces in the last month!”
