NEW Colour Management for Pictrography

Fujifilm has launched a new colour management solution for Pictrography users. The easy to use range of colour
management solutions features a number of benefits, including the elimination of colour shift, workflow efficiencies, dramatically improved quality and less wastage.

Three packages are available to suit a range of requirements and all come with the full support
of Fujifilm’s technical team. The Level One package includes monitor profiling software which will calibrate the monitor so that the colour images which appear on screen match the superb print quality achieved by the Pictrography.

Level Two provides the tools to calibrate the Pictrography as well as the monitor and is ideal for the medium to high volume users looking for total system control. Using CPS Monitor Profiler software, a CPS RGB Profiler, Gretag EyeOne Pro and UV Cut Profiler, this colour management package will enable the user to create their own colour profile which can be saved for use as and when required.

Professional labs using a Pictrography and/ or Frontier digital minilab can also sign up to Level Three, which offers a complete audit of the networked system. This comprehensive package ensures that equipment which handles inputs from a number of sources and outputs to different printers will still colour match. In addition, Level Three also includes Image Processor Pro software which allows for sharpness, tone and range editing with neutralisation and saturation control throughout the colour management workflow.

Fujifilm has also developed two packages for low volume users. These include free generic profile downloads from www.fujifilm/technical.co.uk and a Custom Profile package, whereby for a nominal charge, Fujifilm’s technical team will provide the user with a customised ‘one off’ profile for their
Pictrography. At an additional cost, a Profile Editing Service is also available for those wishing to fine tune their profile to their own specific requirements.
