Peak Image of the Year

Peak Imaging recently awarded the winners of its annual competition for customers. And this year, first and second places reflect the importance of its mail order and internet customers.

The winner was Richard Murphy (left) from Kilkenny in Eire for his image ‘Mesa Arch 5.00am’ shot in the Canyonlands National Park, Utah on Fujifilm Reala 100. Eddie Christie of Fujifilm (right) presented him with a Fujifilm Finepix S2 Pro SLR digital camera and an engraved trophy.

Continuing the international theme, Andrew Sommerville of Brisbane, Australia was awarded £100 of processing vouchers for his second place image of Lyndos, Rhodes, shot on Fujifilm Velvia.
“The competition was designed to recognise the creativity of our customers and was judged by staff at Peak Imaging,” said Eric Willoughby.“While many of our customers are locally based, this year’s winners reflect Peak Imaging’s international reputation.”
