Fujifilm today announces the introduction of the FinePix Z70; the successor to the hugely popular FinePix Z35. This latest addition to the fun and fashionable range of Z series compact cameras has an impressive feature set: 12 megapixel resolution, a Fujinon 5x optical zoom, HD image capture, and a NEW YouTube/Facebook easy web upload facility. The FinePix Z70 is the perfect camera for a fashion-conscious audience that is looking for a blend of style with modern day functionality.

Debuting
a brand new sleek look, the FinePix Z70 features a sophisticated metal body,
and a cool vertical sliding lens barrier. Slimmer than previous Z models, at a
mere 17.9mm thin, this camera is really portable and will be at home in any
handbag or jean-pocket. With its and up-to-date style, the Z70 is likely to
appeal to a wider demographic than its predecessors, with both male and female
colours in the range this really is a camera for everyone.
The
reverse of the FinePix Z70 is equally impressive with its new button layout; now
it features LED illuminated keys which add to the fun, and make it easy to
navigate the camera's functions in dark conditions.
Facebook & YouTube Folders
If you like to post pictures of you and your friends
online then the Z70's NEW Facebook/YouTube
Easy Web Upload function will make your life so much easier. This feature
saves all those hours spent trawling through the photos on your computer to decide
which ones to upload, instead, in playback mode on the camera you select the
Menu option and 'mark' a picture for Facebook or You Tube upload. Then, once you
connect the FinePix Z70 to a computer and access the MyFinePix Studio software
(included in the box), all you have to do is press "upload" and the marked
pictures and videos will transfer to the selected site.
High Definition with High Specification
With HD
image and movie capture and a high 12 megapixel resolution, the FinePix Z70
will capture stunning, detailed images that can be played back in glorious high
definition. Both still shots and video clips can be viewed in all their glory
on any HD ready television*.
*To
connect to an HD-ready TV, you will need a HD Player and HDMI cable (optional
extras).
Bigger Zoom
Hidden
away within this ultra slim 17.9mm body is a high-quality Fujinon 5x optical
zoom lens (36-180mm equivalent). The optics operate internally meaning it is
protected against any bumps and scrapes. Combining a versatile 5x zoom with a
generous 12 megapixel resolution and Digital
Image Stabilisation to reduce image blur, the FinePix Z70 will produce high
quality images.
Let the camera do the thinking
Scene
Recognition Auto (SR AUTO) intelligently detects the scene-type and shooting
conditions and optimises the camera settings accordingly. So whether you're
photographing a group of friends in a nightclub or shooting a beach scene, the
FinePix Z70 will produce perfectly balanced photos at the press of a button. The
Z70 also features low-light capabilities of up to ISO1600 at full resolution,
and advanced Face Detection technology with automatic red-eye removal.
Target Auto Focus (AF)
Previously
featured in the S1500, and perfect for capturing action and sports shots,
Target AF can track fast moving subjects
so they don't escape from the frame in a blur, ensuring you don't miss any more
difficult shots. Target AF tracks
a subject automatically and
once you fully press the shutter the picture is taken in the centre of the
frame in perfect focus.
Spin It Around
The
large 2.7-inch high contrast LCD screen makes it easy to compose and playback
your photos, especially with the new Auto
Picture Rotation feature which rotates the images on the screen dependent
on whether you are viewing it in Portrait or Landscape.
Make a
Movie
With a
One-touch movie button it is simple to create your own video clips. And now you
can have even more fun with a new Movie
Edit function. This entertaining feature allows you to add your own
finishing touches to your footage by editing movies to make them B&W, Sepia or even by adding a backlight correction. Along the same theme, Blog Mode lets you add special effects
to your photos: choose from Sepia, Contrast, Brightness, Crop or Face Mosaic to
achieve different and individual looks.
