Fujifilm are pleased to announce a new camera to join the existing and popular line of J series compacts; the FinePix J30.
Fujifilm's J range of cameras has been a huge hit with consumers who demand a compact that's affordable, easy-to-use, and produces great images. Not only does the new J model tick all these boxes, but it is ultra-stylish too. At only 20 mm thin, and available in a number of different colours, Pink, Silver and Black, the FinePix J30 series have been finished with a special double coated laminate to give a beautifully glossy, varnished finish.
The FinePix J30, with a 12MP sensor, both boast a 2.7" LCD screen, high-quality and pin-sharp 3x optical zoom, Scene Recognition Auto and Face Detection technology. And for added functionality, there's a brand new Panoramic Shooting Mode. This cameras offers point and shoot appeal packed into stylish metal bodies.
Perfect Panoramic Pictures
In a first for J series models, the FinePix J30 features a Panoramic Shooting Mode. Get creative and capture those sweeping landscapes or large group shots at Weddings. Panoramic shooting mode works by seamlessly stitching together three consecutive shots to produce one impressive panoramic picture. It's that easy.
Top Technology at your Fingertips
Super intelligent Scene Recognition Auto has now been rolled out to Fujifilm's entry level compacts to offer all consumers the ability to take fantastic photos at the touch of a button. Scene Recognition Auto (SR AUTO) intelligently detects a scene (Landscape, Macro, Portrait, Night, Night Portrait and Backlit Portrait) and the camera automatically adjusts the exposure, focus and white balance to reveal perfect shots, regardless of the conditions or subject. With SR AUTO all you have to do is point and shoot.
Perfect Portraits
Creating perfect people pictures is easy with Fujifilm's highly-effective Face Detection technology. Use Face Detection to find all the faces in the frame and automatically adjust the focus and exposure to reveal flawless portraits of friends and family. Automatic red-eye removal is deployed to banish devilish red-eyes whilst the photo is being taken.
Picture Stabilisation and High ISO
The FinePix J30 features Fujifilm's Picture Stabilisation mode which ensures that image blur is kept to a minimum – great when shooting fast moving subjects or to compensate for hand shake.
Additionally, with an ISO sensitivity of up to 3200 (at 3MP) the J series camera allows you to capture detailed images with low noise in low-light conditions, without the need to employ the flash which can often bleach out subjects unnecessarily.
Make a Movie
Sometimes still shots are insufficient to capture those special moments. Using the FinePix J30's Movie Mode you can now get really creative and capture your own video clips with sound.
