Simple operation

Digital photography isn't everyone's specialist subject, however this camera is as accessible as they come. How often have you found that you can't work out why your pictures look wrong, only to find that you had mistakenly pressed one of the many buttons for features that you would never use? With the A700, Fujifilm has done what most people have been hoping for: create a camera that cuts your bad shots to an absolute minimum.

2.4 inch LCD screen

The A700 competes in a market where LCD screens are usually very small, and it is difficult to see the quality of your image clearly. The A700 gives you a well-specified 2.4-inch LCD on which you and your friends can inspect and enjoy your photography.

Solid build

Just because it’s a basic camera doesn’t mean that we have cut corners on the quality. Just pick up the A700 to find out how metal components have been engineered into the design to create a surprisingly rugged construction that feels reassuring to hold.

Fujinon zoom lens

We all know that the number of pixels can only be brought to life by the processor within the camera. On top of that, the lens plays a decisive role in influencing the quality of the final image. The FinePix A700 makes full use of the pedigree of professional-standard optical design.

Memory built-in

It's reassuring to know that as long as the camera has power, you can take a picture – the FinePix A700 contains a very useful 12MB of internal memory, which is enough to accommodate those emergency images that you didn't have space for on the card. With that said, the main storage for images on the A700 should be an additional xD card, which will allow you to accommodate almost as many images as you like.
