Easy to use Graphical User Interace (GUI)
Now FinePix digital cameras are even easier to use! An intuitive icon based graphical user interface confirms shooting modes, scene positions, or control settings with brief explanations on the LCD screen. Easy-to-read icon and text description of the selected mode help you choose and confirm the optimum setting for best results. This takes much of the guesswork out of digital camera operation. With less to worry about, you'll have more fun with your picture taking!
2.5 inch LCD screen
Framing and reviewing photographs is made easy with a large 2.5" LCD monitor with an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare when shooting in daylight.
Fujinon lens technology
The FinePix A610 features a 3x optical zoom with a focal range equivalent of 36mm-108mm compared to 35mm film. Bring your subject closer and clearer with high quality Fujinon lens technology. For added range, add the 6.3x digital zoom to get a total zoom range of 18.6x.
Don't forget...the FinePix A610 has an internal memory too
The FinePix A610 makes it possible for you to get that picture even if your memory card is full. The internal memory built into this compact model ensures that you will never have to miss that special shot. Think of it as your internal insurance policy for photo opportunities. With that said, the main storage for images on the A610 should be an additional xD card, which will allow you to accommodate almost as many images as you like.
Dual media slot convenience
A first for Fujifilm's digital compacts, the FinePix A610 features an xD/SD compatible slot, allowing the use of either xD or SD cards.
This will give you the flexibility to buy the card you want, use cards from previous cameras, or choose the media that fits with your other desktop devices like laptops, PDAs or card readers.
