The FinePix A900 gives you excellent image quality, without the fuss of complex controls. Most of the modes within the camera have been automated, leaving you free to enjoy your photography without worrying about getting the settings right.

The A900 breaks the mould by offering a four times optical range, equivalent to 39 mm – 156 mm on a 35mm film camera.
In fact, a zoom range of up to twelve times can be used by combining both digital (x 3) and optical (x 4) zoom; bringing you even closer to your subject.
2.5 inch LCD screen
The large, bright 2.5" LCD monitor is treated with an anti-reflective coating to prevent glare, making it easy to confirm settings and compose pictures, even in bright daylight.

Now FinePix digital cameras are even easier to use! An intuitive icon based graphical user interface confirms shooting modes, scene positions, or control settings with brief explanations on the LCD screen.
The camera has been pre-set to optimise your pictures in a variety of different settings; from natural light portraits to long exposure shots at night. You tell the camera what kind of shots you want to take, and the on-board computer makes all the decisions about optimum camera settings.
This takes much of the guesswork out of digital camera operation. With less to worry about, you'll have more fun with your picture taking!
xD/SD card convenience
The A900 features an xD/SD compatible slot, allowing the use of either xD or SD cards.
This will give you the flexibility to buy the card you want, use cards from previous cameras, or choose the media that fits with your other desktop devices like laptops, PDAs or card readers.
A 2 GB card will give you approx. 495 shots at the highest quality setting and lowest compression.
Although the camera comes with built-in 10 MB of memory, you'll need to purchase an xD or SD card (ideally 512 MB, 1 GB or 2 GB) to really get the most out of the camera.
